SERAS Alliance at InnoTrans 2026

SERAS will participate in InnoTrans 2026, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for transport technology, taking place in Berlin from 22 to 25 September 2026.

Two SERAS events are scheduled for Wednesday, 23 September:

From 10:30 to 11:15, a SERAS panel session entitled “Join the SERAS Rail Skills Alliance: Shaping the Future Together” is planned at the joint DG MOVE, Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking and ERA stand, organised with the kind support of DG MOVE. 

The aim of the session is to welcome new stakeholders to join the alliance to benefit from opportunities such as networking, access to skills intelligence tools and educational hubs and platforms, visibility and EU cooperation.

Later the same day, an event entitled “Building the future European Railway Large-Scale Skills Partnership (SERAS)” will be held from 16:00 to 17:00 on the TALGO ICE-L train for Deutsche Bahn (DB).

The event will focus on the presentation of a Memorandum of Understanding for new stakeholders who would like to support SERAS in the creation of the Rail Skills Alliance.

The train will be reserved for the SERAS event and can accommodate approximately 20-25 invited participants.

The InnoTrans events will provide an important opportunity to present the SERAS initiative, welcome new stakeholders, and strengthen cooperation to promote the development of future skills needs for the European railway sector.
