The SERAS Alliance has launched a large survey on the current state and future needs of rail sector skills

The survey is conducted as part of the SERAS (“Single European Railway Area of Skills Alliance”) Project, co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union and coordinated by the University of Genoa (UNIGE). EU Commission General Directorates such as DG MOVE, DG EMPL and DG GROWTH and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (ECEA) are actively involved in the project monitoring.

The results of this survey will inform current policy initiatives strengthening skills development and workforce resilience across the European rail sector. Take part to the Survey.

The survey is targeting organisations across the rail ecosystem, including, railway operators and infrastructure managers, rail supply industry and maintenance providers, engineering, consulting, and service companies, vocational education and training providers, research institutions, universities and sector associations, public authorities and regulatory bodies.
